Mission.
Promote, facilitate and stimulate the development of intensive care physicians in Uruguay, with the aim of achieving a highly trained professional in technical, human and ethical aspects, capable of working as a team, with the aim of achieving the highest quality of focused care in the patient, his family and the members of the health team.
Ensure the continuous improvement of working conditions, which allow a correct exercise of the specialty in all its aspects, breaking down the barriers that threaten the development and well-being of the professional.
Vision.
To be the reference organization in intensive medicine for Uruguayan society in general and for the health field in particular, as the main engine of dissemination of knowledge and development of the specialty; promoter of comprehensive care for critical patients and their environment.
